In line with her policy of fighting poverty and eliminating hunger in the land, the Umuchinemere Pro-credit Micro Finance Bank (UPMFB) elected to participate in the management and implementation of government financial and agricultural programmes/schemes/policy aimed at fighting poverty and hunger in Nigeria, having considered such government programmes as veritable tools of helping her (the bank) achieve her goal of providing financial inclusion and meeting the financial needs of the active poor persons in the society, especially in the rural communities of Enugu State.

Such programmes include micro financing; Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund (MSMEDF); Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF); Anchor Borrowers' Programme (ABP); and Government Enterprises and Empowerment Programme (GEEP). The bank is participating in the management of these programmes and other poverty alleviating ones, like Financial Inclusion policy, hence she is inviting her present customers and prospective ones to come and benefit from the programmes to enhance their business and also enhance their quality of lives.

Having earlier in our previous editions spoken about micro financing, Financial Inclusion and MSMEDF, we are in this edition bringing awareness about what ACGSF, ABP and GEEP are, for the benefit of not just our customers but our prospective customers to take the advantage of UPMFB providing easy access to these funds and up lift themselves financially to get out of poverty.
