Umuchinemere Procredit Microfinance Bank (UPMFB) has officially launched a new Customer Meeting Point (CMP) in Aguobu Community, Ezeagu Local Government Area, as part of its rural banking expansion initiative. The well-attended ceremony marks a key milestone in UPMFB’s mission to bring accessible financial services closer to underserved communities.
The former Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Her Excellency Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, the Executive Chairman of Ezeagu LGA, Hon. Dr. Vitalis Ndu, his deputy, and a host of political and community leaders graced the occasion. Their presence underscored the importance of inclusive financial infrastructure in local development.
Speaking at the event, UPMFB representatives emphasized that the new CMP will serve as a hub for loan disbursement, savings mobilization, and financial education, especially targeting farmers, small traders, and artisans in the area.
The Aguobu CMP stands as a symbol of the bank’s grassroots commitment and ongoing collaboration with local authorities to drive economic empowerment and sustainable growth across Enugu State.
