The session was a practical training for UPMFB’s CSOs, Credit, Risk, and Finance teams, facilitated by Dr. Cyprian Ezeagu. We focused on strengthening how we manage credit risk from start to finish, understanding what it means, properly screening and assessing customers, being diligent during loan disbursement, monitoring loans closely, and applying smart recovery strategies when needed.
We also looked inward at our people.
The team discussed how to set clear performance goals, track progress with honest feedback, and build personal development plans that help staff grow while driving the bank’s overall success.
