Umuchinemere Procredit Micro Finance Bank (UPMFB) has announced the successful disbursement of ₦3,398,696,713.36 in loans to a total of 3,932 clients between 1st January 2024 and 30th September 2025.
The detailed breakdown shows that Business Loans accounted for the largest share, totalling ₦1.26 billion and supporting 148 clients. Personal Loans came next, with ₦1.18 billion given to 1,707 people. Microloans followed closely behind, totalling ₦360.5 million shared among 1,344 clients. UPMFB also supported 515 individuals with ₦173.9 million in Agricultural Loans. In the Housing Loan category, 98 clients received a combined ₦183.15 million.
Other categories covered Staff Loans (₦152.45 million to 103 clients), Standing Order Loans (₦27.95 million), and Leasing (₦60.14 million). Together, they show the bank’s tailored lending for different needs.
A gender-based analysis of the disbursement highlights UPMFB’s commitment to inclusive financing. Male clients received ₦2.24 billion across 1,813 accounts. In comparison, female clients accessed ₦1.15 billion through 2,119 loan accounts—showing a strong female presence in the bank’s outreach.
This achievement underscores UPMFB’s steady dedication to grassroots empowerment, inclusive entrepreneurship, and community-focused lending. As it celebrates 30 years of operation, the bank continues to drive financial access for all.
