Umuchinemere Procredit Microfinance Bank (UPMFB) has deepened its engagement with the leadership of Ezeagu Local Government Area through a follow-up meeting with the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Vitalis Ndu.
The purpose of the meeting was to advance discussions on sustainable financial collaborations aimed at improving access to microloans and grassroots development initiatives across the LGA.
Building on prior agreements, both parties examined practical steps for expanding the reach of UPMFB’s revolving loan schemes and tailored agricultural financing models. The discussions also explored potential areas of synergy in youth empowerment, women-led enterprises, and rural infrastructure development.
UPMFB reiterated its commitment to working closely with the LGA to ensure that economic empowerment becomes a reality for residents. The bank’s leadership commended the proactive stance of the Ezeagu LGA Chairman, emphasising that public-private collaboration is crucial to community growth.
Further updates are expected in the coming weeks as both teams progress toward a formalised framework for joint implementation.
